Epilepsy & Menstrual Cycles

Hello! I was diagnosed with epilepsy a couple of years ago. I'm still learning and adjusting to this disorder even to this day. What I've noticed (and I could be wrong) is that the epileptic auras I experience are more frequent around the time of my period. Those with epilepsy, is that your experience as well? I cry more, am more depressed, and experience waves through my head. I know the first 2 symptoms can be for anyone. But from what I'm told, waves in the head come from experiencing auras or focal aware seizures. Let me know your thoughts or experience with this. Thank you!
