I just wanted to say this to any other parents who have a completely non verbal baby around this age- go ahead and get them evaluated for your own peace of mind if you’re worried.

My son has 0 words besides babbling mamamam. He communicates only through basic gestures like pointing, showing, bringing. No head nodding or shaking to basic questions, no yes or no. It took over a month to get him evaluated and I’m happy I did it so early because the sooner they start, the better the results. It’s heartbreaking not knowing why language isn’t coming to him as fast as other babies but just know that if your little is the same, you’re not alone!!
