Is it weird for a 20yr old to date a 24 yr old?

I’ve seen several posts on here where a girl about in her late (adult) teens to early 20s will be dating a guy in their late 20s to early 30s and regardless of the question, people just start to freak out about the age gap. And yes, that can be a red flag depending on the situation, but it doesn’t automatically mean the guy is a creep.

I met my husband when I was 19 and he was 23 but we didn’t start dating until I was 20 and he was 24. I remember when we were dating, somebody made a comment about our “age gap” saying it was odd, which surprised me cause I did not feel like it was that much of a difference. We got married at 22 and 26 and now we are 29 and 33. Known each other for 10 years and married 7.

I do find it odd when like a 19 year old will date like a 30yr old but do you think it’s weird for a 19 year old to date a 23 year old?

Btw I’m happily married to love of my life so it truly doesn’t matter at this point lol but I’m curious if other people think that’s a weird gap.
