Hi! I am a first time mom. I am 22 as of today and my son turns 1 year on may 10th. This last year has been absolutely insane! When i had my son, i was induced a week before my due date. Im not going to give every detail because this would be a mile long, but due to drs negligence my son ended up with brain damage which also caused seizures. He spent a little over a week in childrens mercy hospital in kansas city, Ks. When we got to go home, everything was great for a little bit. And then all at once everything that could went wrong. When my son was 4 months old, I full on nose dived into drugs, lost my job, my house, my husband, and damn near everything we had. I struggled for a while finding a job so we moved 2 hours from home and are currently living out of a camper. I got a job finally but finding a place to live seems impossible and i lent my car to a coworker because i felt bad and wanted to be nice but of course that just had to bite me in the ass when he totaled it. So now we have no vehicle either. I just hope to god thsi next year of my babies life goes so much better and i hope and pray he never remembers any of this. We are struggling, but we have been through worse and we will always fight to be better! Anyway, thats my story i look forward to reading other peoples stories too!
