am i in the wrong?

a couple of days ago me and my partner were having sex,

towards the end i asked to stop three times, his response every time was ‘but i’m close’ and kept going. i didn’t fight it or try to get him off me. i didn’t want him to accuse me of blue balling or leading him on, i just had second thoughts and decided i was no longer comfortable with what’s going on (it’s the first time we’ve had sex in over two months due to me going through surgery for my endometriosis and healing).

am i overthinking it and overreacting to what happened?

i haven’t mentioned it to him because it’s such a heavy ‘accusation’ and i don’t want to cause anything between me and him if i am overthinking it. any help would be appreciated!
