daycare possibly not feeding the baby?

my son just started at an in home day care. he cried ALL DAY and he never ever hardly even fusses. he has a double ear infection and is still not even fussy. it’s just not like him. i walked in and he was screaming so hard he couldn’t catch his breath.

i know it’s a new setting for him. and i know he’s not feeling well even though we give him motrin/tylenol. he’s only 8 months. she’s said he didn’t want a bottle which is also not like him. i gave him one when we got home and he chugged 8 ounces and fell asleep.

my friend just sent me a screenshot of her and another of her friends conversation. it was her daughters first day there today too, and she said she screamed the whole time. she picked her up and checked her formula and none of it was used. they didn’t feed her any of it (she had it in the separators) it concerns me. but also, did they not take bottles because they were both so upset? i couldn’t tell by looking at my son’s. i wish i could get a tiny recorder and make sure that’s the case and they aren’t not feeding them 😭 but that’s prolly not legal lol…. or is it? 👀
