When did you go into spontaneous labor with your VBAC?

Today is my due date and I feel like I’m going to be pregnant FOREVER! My first baby was a few days early..

I was 40wks6days with my first VBAC, spontaneous labor.

I started having prodromal labor with my VBAC baby on my due date and he was ultimately born at 40+5. With that pregnancy, I was not comfortable going past 41 weeks because the chance of VBAC success goes way down and risk of stillbirth increases (actually starts increasing at 39 weeks, faster at 40 weeks, even faster at 41 weeks). I’m 20 weeks with baby #3 and will hopefully be attempting another TOLAC with this baby, but knowing what I know now about the risks, I likely will not go past 40+3 without either induction (which carries increased risk of uterine rupture) or scheduled CS. Hopefully baby will come sooner though.
