I (25F) really like surprising my partner (26M), but one thing I have yet to crack is how to surprise him with a sexy outfit/something similar… his stance on lingerie is that it’s nice, but he doesn’t quite “get it” because it’s just stuff in the way of me being naked (he has a similar stance on regular outfits like dresses). I do understand because I’ve never quite gotten the logistics/timing of lingerie either, but it makes it really hard to come up with fun surprises! It feels a little agro to just go for being completely naked instead, and hanging out in my usual underwear is par for the course anytime I’m home, so that won’t do the trick

any creative ideas or suggestions? I really enjoy the *concept* of like, surprising him on his birthday in nice lingerie, but i’m wondering if there’s anything with a similar vibe that will appeal more to a guy who is charmingly practical about everything?

for an extra challenge - he’s not really into toys and stuff in the bedroom either, so I don’t think a *surprise* new toy would be particularly appreciated
