Gestational hypertension?
Does anyone here normally have low blood pressure in the 90s and was diagnosed with gestational hypertension without preeclampsia?
I am very petite and my normal blood pressure is in the 90s, especially at rest. Since turning 38weeks pregnant, my blood pressure is now staying between 120-126 and I’m literally having tension and pressure headaches. I don’t have proteinuria so that rules out preeclampsia. I went to the hospital for this and they weren’t concerned about my blood pressure and couldn’t explain why I was having the pressure/tension in my head so I’m thinking that because my BP is not in the 140 range, they aren’t going to consider hypertension for me. Is it possible that 126-130 is hypertension for MY body?
