Labia question🙄

So last night I was in bed and out of nowhere my right labia began itching really bad and it started burning it was absolutely unbearable. It slightly subsided but as today went on it became more uncomfortable again. I ended up taking a picture of it since I couldn’t see and I noticed there is a long bright red line that’s slightly inflamed and that’s where the itching is (as it’s only on one side). I just don’t know what to think of it. I thought maybe it was from shaving but that was at least 4 days ago. Only other thing I can think of is when I wiped myself I was wearing a ring and maybe grazed that area but I don’t recall feeling any pain. Any suggestions would be appreciated! I am definitely considering seeing a doctor, but idk how long to wait. Thank you for any advice in advance :)
