Struggle making girl friends

How do yall make girl friends? I feel like I get along easier with men but only because they joke around alot. I don’t want that to be the case and wish I had more girl friends. Im a super shy person and struggle making new friends. I have social anxiety and my brain basically shuts down and I have no idea what to talk about when it comes to girl friends. Any advice or tips?
