HOW DO I TEXT SOMEONE I HAVENT SPOKEN TO IN OVER A YEAR AND DONT KNOW!!

SERIOUSLY PLEASE HELP A GIRLY OUT.

i 18f like a 18m, let’s call him “bob” and i have absolutely no idea how to try and start texting him

bob and i met in grade 9 and he was really good friends with my best male friend at the time, we never had any classes together at all but we would talk occasionally and would snap just because our mutual friend. i liked him for a bit in grade 9 too but he never knew or anything we were never actual friends. he also did apparently like my best friend in grade 9 too for a bit.

with covid we went online so i didn’t see him or anything really until grade 11.

grade 11 we had one class together. there was this time my male best friend borrowed something from my best friend and had transferred schools so we didn’t see him as often, this made bob message me and have to meet up with me to get it back (idk if he knew who’s item it was bc it wasn’t even mine LOL)

after that he’d sometimes say hi to me in the halls but we never spoke again.

i wouldn’t say that i like him because i don’t really know much about him, but i have since grade 9 thought he was very nice and very attractive and wanted to get to know him better BONUS he’s 6’5 with brown fluffy hair.

this year grade 12 things were different, again we had no classes together however because i was in a few online classes i spent a lot of time in the cafeteria during class periods. bob would come into the cafeteria everyday during 1st period and we’d make eye contact and we would look at each other a lot basically

in general. this went on for months

seriously, we never spoke or anything would just make eye contact and look at each other every day. both my friends have noticed us when we’ve made eye contact and him looking at me while we’ve been in the caf too, and one time i came to school in a skirt and he was walking past as i was coming into the school and

he did like a “double take” in my direction but i’m not sure if he was looking at me or not?

i never liked his friends and was embarrassed to try and speak to him knowing there was possible rejection and still having to see him. schools over and we all of us graduated, meaning his friends are all going to university. i decided to take another semester at my high school next year and i over heard yes going back for another year too.

i have always really wanted to try and see if something could happen between us ik he’s single and now that’s it’s summer i wanted to somehow try and talk to him.

i’m just not too sure how i’d talk to him over snapchat again? does anyone have any ideas on what to do and also if you feel there might be potential for something??
