If your first child looks like you, did your second? And do your children look similar or opposites?

Is there any scientific reasoning behind why some siblings look alike while others look completely different? And do environmental factors play a role in how siblings look?

My kiddos look pretty much the same that we get asked if they are triplets. My girls however do have blue eyes from their dad and my son has my brown eyes. I feel like I never know who they look like and it changes daily and people say sometimes me and sometimes my husband so I guess a good mix. We will see if baby 4 looks like the other 3 or is completely different lol

Just genetics. My kids look nothing alike but have similarities to both myself and my husband. Curious what our 3rd looks likes 😄

No clue. Just random genetics lol. My first looks like my husband and second more like my family’s side. They don’t look alike at all lol. 
First had brown hair and brown eyes, second has blonde hair and blue eyes. Myself and my husband have brown hair/brown eyes. 
The blonde comes from parts in my family and the blue eyes is my dad & brother and my husband’s dad and brother

Completely luck of genetics! 
My eldest two with my ex barely look related, our eldest has blonde hair blue eyes and a pretty pale complexion, our youngest has brown hair, brown eyes and tans both have pin straight hair
For example my ex has tight curls and ginger, with blue eyes and fairly pale skin whereas I have green eyes, dark pin straight hair, our eldest looks more like my ex’s family and our youngest looks more like my family. 
With my pregnancy baby with my new partner our daughter looks almost identical to her father!
