Prenatal swimming: yay or nay?

Hey water-loving mommas! I've heard that swimming is great for pregnant women, but I'm a bit hesitant. Any of you tried prenatal swimming? Share your thoughts and experiences, and let's dive into this topic together!

My maternal fetal medicine (specialist since I’m having identical twins), therapist and my obgyn all told me to swim as much as possible. I thought yeah yeah whatever I bet it’s alright. But finally got all the way into the water last week and man I can tell you it relieved so much pressure off of me but getting out I felt so heavy again lol. But being in the sun regardless makes me feel better in general and I’m quite the pessimist 😅 try it! Worst that will happen is it’s just not for you 🤷🏻‍♀️

I did water PT and swimming when i was preg with my son - it was awesome. Took away the paon, felt great and it was nice to feel weightless for awhile. I would love to do it now but with a 3 year old at home, havong pool tome is a pipe dream
