Will I sleep again?

Question

My almost 14 month old has slept through the night maybe 10 nights of her sweet life. Am I alone? I try it all, change up bedtime, banana before bed, wash those pjs she slept through the night in to wear again thinking they’re the lucky charm. That meme setting the air the same, pjs, etc 🤪 
Maybe we will get there one day.

I’ve read many different books that just got me depressed but the. I’ve come across “Helping babies sleep” by Sarah Mitchell. I was scared to sleep train, didn’t want her to cry but this book really helped me. It’s a easy read and very straightforward. She doesn’t try to convince you you have to do it this way or else. She has many suggestions and explanations. It took us barely a week, and once we had to retrain because she got sick. I wish I’d done it earlier. Our baby has slept ever since.

I know it’s hard but let her cry. My dr told me 15 minutes for my 9 month old you should look up hours long is Tops for your baby. 3 days of crying for a life long worth of good sleep. Seems like a fair trade

Well you haven’t tried everything……you could always do the cry it out method. It works. It’s hard as a momma to hear baby cry but they really are okay.

Our son is nearing two and same. Almost every night Is garbage sleep for us. We’ve tried letting him cry it out and if only lasts for a couple of days. The worst part is that even if we conceded and let him get into our bed he’s restless and won’t go back to sleep. It’s honestly made us question whether we want to have anymore kids. The only thing that we’ve found works a little is keeping him on the same exact schedule every day. He wakes up at 7, naps from 12-230pm, and goes to bed at 830-9pm.
