Ultrasound 2D & 3D imaging as an elective experience

I’m 6weeks and 3 days and I have my first exam, including first sonogram, in a few weeks. However, because I am so impatient and especially because I’ve had previous losses I am eager to see proof that there is in fact a embryo/fetus attached to the uterine lining properly- I have made an appointment at one of those imaging places, one that also happens to have an ultrasound tech on staff. For an additional fee they will not only give you copies of ultrasound but they will also do measurements and determine the location. They can’t tell you much more than that, only a doctor can. I feel like I need to see that something is there and that it is growing as it should be in order to ease some of my worries and for it to feel less surreal and more tangible so I can go about planning my life. If you have access to a facility such as this and have $50-100 to put toward this kind of expenditure it can be a great way to get a sneak peek before your first exam.
