Rectal endo, super fun times

Junebug • Retroverted/retroflexed uterus. Stage 2 Endo. Hashimotos & Arthritis.

So back in 2016 i was diagnosed with stage 2 endo via laparoscopy. They also noticed a lesion on the wall of my rectum but didnt excise it since that takes extra care that my OBGYN couldn't do. No biggie, just occasional butt lightning during period bowel movements since then. However, i think i am finally progressing (unfortunately) to something more dreadful. For the last few months i would go about 24 hours (after menstrual bleeding stops) with pretty intense rectal pain. This week i am now on 3 full days of pure torture. Sitting, walking, standing, lying down, stretching the low back all hurt. I went to Urgent Care yesterday and got a shot of Toradol that did nothing. I got a few days' prescription of Percocet as well. I only feel comfortable taking 1/2 a pill at a time so maybe that's why it's also not touching it. A bath and a couple hours on a heating pad seem to take the edge off temporarily, but that is obviously not sustainable since i work full time... though i could WFH temporarily. Getting up to use the restroom undid my progress this evening. Urgent Care didn't consider other causes due to my history of endo. Went to the chiro today to see about my sacrum being wonky, that did nothing. I can't get in to see my reg doc for a couple weeks (even as a walk-in), i have an appt with my OBGYN (who did my 2016 surgery) on Aug 3 to talk about alll this. What do you beautiful people do to ease the torture of rectal endo??
