How can you tell if your pregnant ?

I’m a fairly big girl and me and my partner are trying for a baby, but I don’t have any of the symptoms I had with my son. Which was the nausea and drowsiness. I just have headaches, sometimes feel sick but I’m not, always tired, sometimes have a burst full of energy then I don’t. I have naps then I don’t. Some different types of food smells makes me gag. Should I do a pregnancy test next week ? As I am due for my period then
