Aspirin side effects?

Hi all, my midwife just recommended I go on aspirin  at 12 weeks to make sure baby is getting lots of blood flow. My concern is that I have low blood pressure I’m struggling with right now (due to bad iron anemia) and I know it is usually for people at risk for high blood pressure. I also have a large sub chorionic hematoma that is still bleeding currently and threatening my pregnancy. I’ve heard that aspirin can increase bleeding. I’ve asked these questions back to my midwife but if anyone has any experience with low blood pressure, sub chorionic hematoma, ivf pregnancy, or anything like this I would really appreciate your experiences.

I am 28 weeks with my IVF baby and currently taking aspirin. I had been taking it prior to transfer because I also had open heart surgery in September and was told to be on it for 6 months post surgery (transfer was in February so I was 5 months post surgery). I had a small SCH at my 6+3 scan so I stopped the aspirin and it went away on its own by my 8 week scan. Then once I graduated to my OB they told me to start the aspirin again at 12 weeks and when I brought up my concerns she told me there is no real evidence that SCH is caused by aspirin and that the benefits outweighed the risks (pre-e vs sch) so I decided to take the small chance of getting another SCH because with my heart condition and this being an IVF with ICSI pregnancy the chance of pre-e is much greater. Im on it right now but didnt start until 17 weeks (almost 18). Literature states that starting prior to 16-20w gestation reduces your risk of getting preeclampsia, and that it can lessen the severity. We're in the IVF 2023 group together. Im also having my second IVF baby. I did not take it with my 1st, nor was it recommended. I had a text book, healthy pregnancy until my BP shot up at the end. Hypertention and pre-e are both at a higher risk for patients that conceived via IVF/ICSI or ART/HRT. Personally, id wait until your specialist apt for your infusion and talk with them about it since you still have time in your window for it to be effective. I cant really speak to the SCH but I have seen people on here have them and also be on Baby Aspirin. Hopefully one of them answers and gives some insight. What did your midwife say when you asked about the low BP and the bleed?

I took aspirin from 4-20 weeks for clotting factor. I had a sch and i also had low blood pressure (71/48) very low. I bled on amd off from weeks 5-15 with my sch. But i credit the aspirin with carrying my son to term.
