Cramps or contractions?!

How do I know the difference? I am 34 weeks and I been feeling mild lower cramps for the last few hours. It is pretty painful! Would this be contractions or am I just cramping?

It can be either. This just happened to me a few days ago. I used a heating pad and changed positions and it went away but defintely listen to.your intuition. It was a littke scary because it reminded me if labor but i think i over did it that day

I would stay cramps are constant pain and feel like period cramps. You get some relief with contractions because you have breaks in between them when the pain stops.
