What are the benefits of early prenatal screening tests?

Hey there, mommies! I'm curious to know your thoughts on early prenatal screening tests. Have you undergone them? Did they provide you with valuable information about your baby's health? Let's discuss the benefits of early screening tests and share our experiences to educate and support each other.

We didnt do them with our 3 daughters but we did with our last pregnancy being over 35 now and wanting to confirm the sneak peek blood test. We are happy we did as it showed high risk for our baby boy having trisomy18... we did confirmation testing and ended up terminating. I appreciated knowing early on than being surprised at 20 weeks or losing baby between there and having to tell our young daughters. We will be doing the testing again this pregnancy for chromosome health  confirmation and gender as sneak peek says we are blessed with another boy.

We’ve done testing on previous pregnancies. I feel it provides peace knowing what to possibly expect. Luckily, we haven’t had any health issues with babies. The NIPT can provide baby’s sex which is great if you want to know that as well…
