PCOS attacks

I (26) was recently been diagnosed with PCOS after an extreme pain episode and im scared for another one. Its been 46 days since the episode and i know that one will be coning soon (im on the implanon so periods are about 60 days apart) i get pain the day after i bleed which matches my old ovulation cycle. My doctor has prescribed me endone for when it is unbearable but i dont like using it because i get hyper and can never sleep (panadol and ibuprofen never work for the pain). What do you guys do for pain when the basics dont work?
