I'm looking for thoughts/ opinions on what route I should take for my second delivery.

I went into labor at 39+1 with my son. My water broke at home around 5pm, when I got to the hospital around 5:30 I was 4cm by 11pm I was 8cm but he's heartrate tanked so they took my in for an emergency csection.

This time around I've been give the option to try a vbac or schedule a csection. I'm torn what I should do. I'm due December 27th, I really don't want to have a Christmas or Christmas <a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glow.android.eve">Eve</a> baby. They would schedule the csection around 39 weeks (Dec 20th ish). I'm not afraid of another section but terrified of having another emergency csection. I like the idea of knowing exactly when it will happen but I don't want to think what if.

I'm thinking I might schedule a csection and if I go into labor on my own before that I will try to do a vbac but I don't know what to do. Thoughts & experiences?
