Scared of getting pregnant

Hi! I just got off birth control and I’m now seeing a partner. We use condoms as birth control for now. Is it safe to rely only on condoms for pregnancy prevention? I’ve always used pills and condoms before this.

Also, if we ever want to not use them is it safe while not on birth control? I really don’t want to get pregnant and I’m not sure if I’m overly worried and paranoid of getting pregnant. Do any of you ladies just trust condoms or just cycle tracking method for pregnancy prevention? Did you accidentally get pregnant? How worried should I be? Just downloaded this ovulation app so now I’ll see my risky windows. Should I get back on the pill? Having a hard time deciding if I should go back on the pill and if it’s ever safe to not use condoms and not be in the pill.
