Is aluminum deodorant bad during pregnancy?

It’s the only deodorant that keeps me smelling fresh. Is it bad to use deodorants with aluminum?

Aluminum is bad for you whether pregnant or not. I generally don’t use deodorant, but if I feel like I need it I use Toups magnesium tallow deodorant and it works well for me, but if you’re not used to natural deodorant you will need to detox first. I’ve also heard amazing things about rubbing cut lemons under your armpits in the morning to kill the bacteria and keep the smell down.

I go through Bend Soap Co. company. I like their honey grapefruit deodorant. I also like their soap. Your body will take a couple of weeks to get used to the new deodorant without aluminum, so there may be a smell there. Just stick it out. Aluminum is so bad for you. ￼

I think in general it’s bad to use. One trick is to wipe your armpit with diluted rubbing alcohol since the bacteria is what causes the smell. You can also switch your shirts more often during the day.
