When do you plan to announce?

Question

I'm 9.5 weeks and immediate family already knows. We are planning to tell our 4 year old daughter this weekend but know that as soon as she knows, the whole world will know!

I will wait until after 10 weeks when I get the results back from genetic testing. That is what I did with my first and it made me feel confident to tell people when I knew that everything was healthy (and I knew the gender as a bonus!)

I get to sick so had to tell my mom who helps with the kids a few days a week and our 5 year old kept asking so we told him 😂 A small handful of others know now and we’ll let DS start telling everyone after the first ultrasound next around 9 weeks.

We are planning our 4 year anniversary party which is an a month I will be 13 weeks and announcing it on social media on our gender reveal

We wait until we have the gender and genetic test results. My doc does it at 12 weeks and results come in 1-2 weeks later.  So prob around 14 weeks, but I’m sure people will notice earlier and I’ll probably deny.  I don’t like having all my emotions on my sleeve if something goes wrong.

I am waiting till closer to October. I have had two miscarriages before this pregnancy even though this is number 5 pregnancy. We are also having a lot of dating issues (how far along I am).

Well I’m not positive lol. This is baby #4 and we don’t have our first appointment until I’m 10.5wks in(1.5 weeks). We probably will tell our immediate family then. Our kids don’t know yet and it’s game over once they do lol. But we aren’t announcing to the world I believe until about half way. Things change though 😜.

We are waiting until about 11 weeks for a big announcement, only because my mom lives in another state and I want to tell her in person. We are so excited for baby #2 that we decided to tell one close friend a day 🤗 that isn’t in the same circle as my mom so the surprise won’t be ruined.

I’m 9w1d measuring 9w4d and we just told my parents last night only because I needed him to watch my daughter for our appointment today. I wanted to make sure everything was okay today before I said anything. It’ll probably be 16 weeks or so before we announce anywhere else though. My last two pregnancies I was 22-24 weeks before I announced due to my first 2 pregnancies being miscarriages

I’ve been struggling with when to tell people! I’m 6 weeks 6 days with my second and so far only my husband knows. I really want to tell my parents and siblings but I’m trying to be patient and wait until I have my first ultrasound at least (I’ll be about 9 weeks then).

We’ll be telling our parents this weekend if everything looks good at the ultrasound today (I’m 7w1d), our close friends sometime soon, too, and then I don’t tend to tell others (ie. posting on social media, etc.) until after 24 weeks.
