Anyone’s Two Year Old not Talking??

My baby turned 2 on August 9th. He only says “ma” he makes lots of sounds but not talking? Anyone else having the same experience??

Yep my daughter is/was the same way. She just turned 2 a couple of weeks ago but we could tell she was a little behind before this point and put her in speech therapy. She's doing a lot better now.

Me currently! My son turned 2 last month & not really talking yet. His only 2 favourite words are “hi, bye” lol. My bf got him to say banana though & his brother got him to say auntie, so I think he’s just not ready. 🤷🏽‍♀️

My girl is also on the slower end when it comes to speech, however, she is bilingual thereby we think it is mostly because of that. She also has fluid in both of her ears which does not seem to dissolve in the past more than 6 months, so she will have an OP for that next week. But I can see she understands and reacts to everything I tell her (e.g. She understands things like “get your boots and walk to the door because we go to the shop by car” and after putting on shoes she heads to the garage not to the street, etc..).

My son was born august 1st and still isn’t talking much. He says mummy and daddy ball bubble no thank you like a few random words but not really like a sentence

Baby girl know some words, I talk to her in Spanish and dad in English. The doctors here are congratulating us for making her bilingual early, but due to the same she will be a little behind in speaking. 😅 it also doesn’t help that the “nerd baby” likes to sit with dad to watch anime in Japanese.
