Ovulation: How soon is too soon?
I remember watching a video on YouTube from obgyn talking about fertility tracking. Biologically speaking I think she said it’s impossible to ovulation with a viable egg before 14 days? (And that a luteal phase of less than 10 days is abnormal and cause to see the doctor because it’s likely to have chemical pregnancies or just not have the fertilized egg be able to implant— but this topic is about ovulation, so back to that!) So in order to ovulate an egg that actual can be fertilized, implanted and result in a viable pregnancy, it needs to spend 14 days maturing in the follicle in the ovary. Anyone know about this? I usually don’t even worry about opk test or BD until at least CD 12/13 because of this.
Anyone heard any similar literature on this or know of any contrary advice?
