How long did you keep baby in your room?

I’m only 11 weeks. Definitely have a lot of time to figure things out. Of course I’ll have a bassinet in our room when the baby is a newborn. I’m just not sure if I like the idea of my baby being in another room when they are a few months older. Just thinking about that gives me anxiety already 😅🙃
How long did you keep your baby in your room before transitioning them to their room?

I kept both my children in my room until they were 3 lol my nerves couldnt take it

My daughter slept with me until she was 5.  Reason was bc I was a single mom living at my parents and we shared a room. Now, she has her own room and my 1 year old son sleeps in the same room as my husband and I. I’m due in January so I’m trying to transition him in his own room pretty soon I just feel like he’s still to young😂 but I know it will have to happen once the baby is here.

My daughter stayed in our room (bassinet until rolling and then full crib) until about 10/11m. She transitioned to a twin bed at 15m old. She sleeps soooo much better in her own room. 
My son is 12m (9m corrected though) and is still in a pack n play in our room. If we had the space, he’d be in his own room 3 months ago. He’s not ready to share with his sister yet. So we are just playing it by space and we will see when we move.

We moved our son at 6months. So we had him in a pack n play for his bed in our room and transitioned his naps in his crib in his room around 4months. Then full time sleep in his crib at six months. He was already sleep 8hours from like 6weeks so that worked and once he went into his crib he slept even longer!

We did a play yard and I'm glad we did, my kids were abnormally wiggly and rolled over very early. We transfered our oldest at 4 months. She was sleeping 8 hours a night at 3 months, but my husband's snoring was bothering her and making her mad. We put her in her room at 4 months and she started sleeping 10 hours a night. With our youngest we transfered her to her own room at 6 months again, due to my husband's snoring. I was beyond ready for her to be in her own room because it was stressful for every tiny sound to wake her up even with a sound machine. When this baby is born I plan to have baby in their own room between 4 and 5 months.

It’s recommended to keep baby in your room till at least 6 months to a year. My baby boy is only 8 weeks this week but we have said when I am going back to work after maternity leave (in February) he be 7 months we would see how we feel about him being in his own room due to me getting up in the mornings I don’t want him to be woken up to early (I’ll be only working 3 days) but as we both agreed that we see how we feel as we might not be ready and I feel 1 year old might be better to move into his own room.

It’s highly advised to keep baby in your room for a minimum of 6m. Up to 1 year is mostly suggested. I didn’t put my girls in their room until 10m old.
