Plug? Help!

Hi all, I went to my birthing center to be checked today. I have been having pretty consistent contractions and had a gush of fluid occur. The doctor was concerned with the amount of contractions I’ve been having and checked me. I’m at a 2 and am 32 weeks. They tested and my water did NOT break but I was told as I dilate cervical mucus can increase A LOT (hence the gush). He sent me home and told me to time contractions and let them know if they become worse. Now I’m bleeding? I know it’s likely from being checked but I’ve never bled like this before from being checked?

I’m cramping pretty bad and have been having contractions about every 5-10 mins.

Any thoughts? Please be kind, this is all new to me and it’s scary!
