Membrane sweep ! Did it work for you ?

If you had a membrane sweep did it work for you? How many weeks pregnant were you ? How long did it take to work? I had one with my last baby (my 3rd baby) and it didn’t work that time. I am going to have one next week with my 4th baby because we are trying to get my body to do it’s own thing so I hopefully won’t have to be induced with Pitocin.

Worked for me! I had it done at 2cm. That night I lost my mucus plug and water broke 48 hours later. I was 38 weeks and some days

Did not work for me. Made me cramp, vomit and bleed for 48 hours each time. Had two with my third, and even being at 3 cm. I never progressed and it did nothing but make me so unwell and feel rubbish each time.￼

It worked for my 2nd and 4th. Not the other two. I was 40 weeks with my 2nd and it pushed me into labor that night. And I was 41 weeks 5 days with my 4th and I went into labor that night as well.

I had one last week at 39 & 3, it sadly didn’t work. 😔 I was only 1cm dilated though, so maybe that’s why. No spotting, no cramping.. nada. I’m over 40 weeks now & have an appt tomorrow. May try again. Hope yours works!!
