Is this rude?

So recently I came up with the name for our baby boy and my grandma had a strong opinion on it due to the fact that I didn’t name him after her with an L. I named his middle name after my Nana who passed away when I was little and always said I would use it. So she got upset about that and has repeatedly told me she doesn’t like the name. I’ve kept it on the low and she hasn’t. She told her close friend and told me what she said. And I absolutely adore the name. I know everyone has their opinions but after all I’m his mother. This is an example of what she said. She wanted me to name him “laiden”
