How many oz. Should my 5 month old drink?

I have exclusively breastfed my baby till last week we decided to introduce formula. Ive been giving him 4 oz. So far and we switch between formula and breastfeeding. Is 4 oz enough for a 5 month old? Im pretty sure he'd take more if i gave him more but i don't want to overfeed him.

Every baby is different. There isnt a.swt guideline. If yoir baby is happy and growing, its.correct.

With breastmilk you give 1-1.5oz pr hour and max 4oz at the time. This doesn't increase over time.  Whats your plan with introducing formula?

My 9 month old will only take a 4oz bottle at a time. I was wasting so much formula thinking I had to make him 6-8oz bottles but he would flat out refuse to drink more than 4oz. It’s been that way since we switched him to formula at 6 months. He was exclusively breastfed up until that point. He will only take a 6oz bottle first thing in the morning and last bottle before bed but even then sometimes he won’t drink it all.

My baby is 7 months and she’s been drinking 4 oz sense she was about 5 months . She now drinks that and some baby food . But never drinks more then that. Her growth has been normal @ every doc appointment. 
I know other babies her age that drink 6-8 oz tho. So it’s whatever your baby wants. If they’re still fussy I don’t see the harm in an extra oz or 2
