what do you do with your kids all day??

I want to completely cut out TV. I just don’t know how to get anything done or keep them entertained all day, I’m a SAHM and it’s cold here, too cold to get my kids outside. they are 6m and a little over 1.5 years.

I have a 2 and a 3 year old with another on the way. Every day we do read books, color, do an art activity, learn colors, numbers, ABCs, work on gross and fine motor skills, have sensory activities, ect. I keep them busy. I also have them do chores. Each of my kids has helped with chores since they could stand. They like to help with laundry, wiping appliances, cleaning tables, sweeping, moping, picking things up, ect.

Right now im in the livingroom. The tv is off and my 3 and 6 year old have been playing with paw patrol toys for two hours. When they are bored they have books and blocks, magnetic blocks, and lincolin logs. The tv is pretty much a bad decoration on the wall. We never use it. We do tinker crates and other art. I have play dough and kinetic sand. They like colired bears and cups to sort.  You dont need a tv. Im in vt. We rarely go out and are indoors mostly now that it has been colder and raining.

My son is 7. When he’s home from school/weekends/holiday vacation, we read books, go to the beach, go to the aquarium, zoos, and museums. We go swimming (year round) and to the parks. We go to theme parks. We go to the bookstore. He’s only allowed 30 minutes a day of screen time. The rest is spent playing outside, playing with legos, arts and crafts, baking, reading his books.

I have a 13 month old. I work out of the house as well but on my days home: We read a lot of books, puzzles, flash cards, listen to music, play with all the toys, go on a walk usually to the park then play there, I just introduced coloring
