I’m 37 weeks and I had my cervix checked this a.m. I won’t lie when I say this was quite painful for me and caused a ton of discomfort. She said I was thinned but not dilated at all yet. I am cramping and feel a lot of belly tightening currently. I can’t tell if it’s the baby moving around or brack hick or what. There was no membrane sweep. It was just her feeling inside. Are regular cervical checks common to induce labor? I keep getting sharp pains that make me groan out loud.
