Hey guys! this is my second pregnancy and due to my fist ending in a C section my OB wants to do another C section at 39weeks or at least an induction. Has anyone used castor oil right around 39weeks to prevent medical intervention for inducing labor??

here’s the tea, I being in the medical world have access to many studies like this:

I’ve worked alongside midwives and other doulas, myself being one. It can absolutely cause problems when taken outside of the guidelines, in high risk pregnancies, and so on. I’m veryyyy appreciative for everyone looking out for myself and baby. A lot of what is on the internet is bad advice and or poor quality studies. Im completely aware of what’s safe and what’s skeptical. I appreciate the input but i’m not asking anyone’s personal opinion, just if they have a birth story around their castor oil use specifically for avoiding a repeat C section or medical induction/intervention. 🫶🏻
