Got it done last Tuesday and it’s been feeling a little weird

Ive had my piercing since i was 15, so 20 yrs now. Just washed it once a day with antibacterial soap. Then shot glass of sea salt + water in the evenings for a few mins first 6 weeks. For a few yrs it would randomly act up. Did sea salt water & that stopped it. Havent had to do that in a very long time! Hasn't receded or anything. 🩷

Yes, soak it with a shot glass of warm water and sea salt for 10 minutes morning and night, and it’ll draw out any gunk in there!♥️

Yes a tad.. use warm salt water and soak the area. You can also clean with antibacterial soap. Take the piercing out and try to get the gunk out near the piercing insertion sites. Sterilize your piercing and put it back in and apply some neosporin. Keep cleaning it with soap and water the next day and leave it dry with no ointment and open to air with no dressing.

Yes it does. I had an infection in my belly ring years ago, it got so bad it came out (ripped through the skin) it scabbed over and now I have a permanent scar. I was young and dumb lol

Have you been drying it after you wash it? I noticed that piercings that stay moist take longer to heal and usually look irritated like this

So, you gotta play around with what works for your piercing.  I found making my own salt water mixture helps a lot more than wound wash.
You just need sea salt and water. There were times when my ring got infected from getting hung on things. So I would put antibiotics cream on it and that would clear it right up.
