Toddler parents, how were the 2s and 3s for your kids?

My 2 year old is exceptionally difficult and I’m hoping there’s light at the end of the tunnel because we have a newborn and shit is hard

1st kid - 2s we’re a breeze, 3 was a challenge. 2nd kid - 2s were challenging 3s are a fucking shit show. I don’t even know why we call them the terrible twos when the threes are chaos.

I feel like with all my kids twos were hard, but threes were harder. I feel like at two its.just.the basic like dont do this dont do that. But at three they know better now and understand to not do this or that and they will test you until your throat hurts from saying it so much. LOL. I feel like three takes a lot more consistency and reward.vs consequence actions where two is teaching them the right from wrong basics.

1st- both were easy. She was an easy kid
2nd- easy 2 year old, difficult 3 year old 
3rd- both easy 
4th- absolute psycho for both. He just turned 3. Lol
