Positive pregnancy test and ovulation test?

Yesterday I took a pregnancy test and it came back positive right away! Well today I took an ovulation test and it was instantly positive. I know these things can happen, but I’ve had ovarian cysts before and don’t know if that can cause a positive test. Has anyone else ever had this happen?

Thats normal. Why did you take an opk? Your pregnancy test is positive. Thats all that matters.

If you have high amounts of hCG it can cause an opk to be positive as an opk can not differentiate hCG and LH.

Normal. That's because the chemical makeup of hCG is similar to that of LH. While pregnancy tests can tell the difference, ovulation tests cannot.

Hcg can also make an opk turn positive, I wouldn’t use them anymore since you’ve gotten a positive pregnancy test
