Advice please

So two days ago I had really light brown just spotting usually when I would just pee and wipe I haven’t had any crampy no pain nothing like that. This is my third pregnancy but I’m a little older this time around so everything‘s kind of scaring me anyways, I went to the ER two days ago they tested my hCG told me obviously if it wasn’t active red blood just flowing out of me that I shouldn’t worry and to come back in a few days and have my hCG tested again I went back today, less than 48 hours later, and it had almost tripled and they Tried to reassure me that if I was actively losing a baby and that was what that blood was coming from my hCG would not have tripled. Has anybody else ever went through anything like this? I wouldn’t say the blood is horrible. It’s only when I wipe nothings going on a pad or anything like that but it’s still Discharged that I’ve never had in any other pregnancy. Thanks for any advice
