Pregnant?

Ive been frequently having sex with my partner using the pullout method and I am on my 4th year of my nexplanon implant. I know they expire after 3 years but many medical practitioners assured me they are still effective in the 4th year, although a lot less effective. What are my chances of pregnancy?

Your medical provider said your bc is a lot less effective and thinks that’s ok? Wtf. Why do you think that’s ok?

Nobody can say for sure at this point. But, I personally wouldn’t trust an expired implant, especially that expired. I still always get mine replaced after 3 years, and my Obgyn won’t let patients go longer than the 3 years anyway (give or take a few weeks) unless/until it’s officially been approved by the manufacturers & FDA. So, if I were u, I would just get it replaced asap & use condoms until u have had a new implant or other birth control for a full week.
