PCOS bleeding - Progesterone cream

I started taking progesterone cream I got on Amazon, I understand it’s not like the kind the doctor gives you. I bleed nonstop with my PCOS, usually very heavily. When I first started the progesterone cream, it made my bleeding stop completely for about 2 weeks. The directions on the cream say take it for 3 weeks twice a day, stop for one week, pick it up again. On the last day I was not taking the cream, I started bleeding and the next day, I started the cream again. I’ve been bleeding for 16 days now and have been taking the cream for about a month and a half. I read on one of the reviews on Amazon that a girl with PCOS had her symptoms get worse before it got better because the progesterone levels were leveling out. Has this happened to anyone else and it clears up and gets better? Is there a light at the end of the tunnel? I just want to have a normal period and not be on birth control. Please help!!
