Just curious, anyone else’s kids look DRASTICALLY different even though they have the same dad? Obviously all kids are different and they’re not always going to look alike but my bf and even my family are starting to get on my nerves over this. My bf of 6 years and I have 2 children together, an almost 3 year old and almost 2 month old. Our toddler was born with a small amount of blonde hair, he was very pale and had blue eyes. Still to this day he is super pale has light hair and very light blue eyes. However our daughter is the complete opposite. She is very tan, has very dark eyes, and a head FULL of black hair. She looks absolutely nothing like her brother they’re overall the complete opposite of each other. It does seem odd because I’m not sure where the dark skin and hair came from as my bf and I both have dirty blonde/light brown hair and we’re both white. Even complete strangers have mistaken her for being mixed with African American. After she was born my bf started making “jokes” asking me if she was mixed or just making jokes about him not being the dad because of how different she looks. His family started doing the same thing making jokes asking if she was mixed and now even people in my own family have asked if she’s mixed so it’s starting to feel like less of a “joke” and more like everyone is genuinely wondering/implying that I cheated on my bf or something just because my daughter doesn’t look like her brother.🙃 I tell everyone that siblings don’t always have to look alike and that my bf is 10,000% the dad. Everyone just awkwardly laughs and seems like they almost don’t believe me. It’s just getting annoying. Just wondering how common it is for siblings to be complete opposites
