2 weeks later / pregnancy update:

So I found out I was pregnant the night of my expected period (October 3rd) and had it confirmed the following day. I went in for an ultrasound at what they thought was 5 ish weeks and they didn't see anything, so I came back a week later and still nothing.

A week later they found a sac that measured 6w3d and no baby. So obviously I was feeling a little let down and devastated and like this baby wasn't going to stick. It was my 3rd baby and with both of my other pregnancies everything went smooth and was seen early..

Fast forward to today. I went in preparing for bad news. I wanted to cry and I was nervous, but the tech did the abdominal and sure enough within minutes she found a little bean and a heart beat. The HR was 163 and I am measuring 7w2d according to the ultrasound and my EDD is July 14th 2024.

I'm so relieved that this time we found something to confirm and make it real that I am in fact pregnant. It still feels surreal and like it isn't happening and I still have slightly mixed emotions. But one thing I did when I saw a baby and a heart beat was thank God.

I go back in 3 ish weeks for another ultrasound and to check on baby bean and HOPEFULLY ask about doing the blood work for gender. (I did it with my 2nd at around 10-12 weeks).
