Third Baby Labor; SCARED
Hey Mommas!
I’m pregnant with my 3rd baby. I know every pregnancy is different, but I do have a few questions.
Backstory: 1st baby, 7hr labor, 6lbs 11oz, 37+3 (boy)
2nd baby, 8hr labor, 6lbs 1oz, 36+5 now I personally believe that my labor with baby #2 lasted so long because the midwife(who was quite rude) said my water was broken, however I felt the urge to push and because I wasn’t full term a doctor had to deliver my baby. When the doctor came in she had ended up breaking my water and 2 minutes later my babygirl was born. Even she said had my water actually been broken, my labor would not have been as long. And might I add, the pain was HOTTTTT! They augmented my labor as well. Now I am here scareddd out of my mind about doing a natural labor for the third time. My son made it seem easy my daughter has scarred me for lifeeeee! Labor with my son naturally progressed, water broke at home by the time I got to the hospital I was already 8cm. With my daughter I went for a checkup and they told me I was already 5cm but I was in no pain. What are the chances that this labor may be easier and quicker than the first 2, and what are the chances that this baby comes just as early as the first 2?
