Early labor @ 35 weeks

Hey everyone, so I spent all day in the hospital yesterday because I was having regular and labor like contractions but no dilation, they gave me tributaline as well as a medication to help the baby's lungs mature if he does just decide to come they wanted to keep me overnight because my contractions were still happening even though there was no dilation and I decided to go home because I didn't just want to spend the day in the hospital for no reason. Has anybody experienced anything like this and what was the outcome, I've still been having contractions but they're not any worse and nothing has changed so there's no need for me to go back yet I was just curious if anybody else had any similar situations and if their baby came early, if the contractions eventually calm down, or what.
