Why is married with kids an Accomplishment?

I am struggling to understand why is it married with kids still seen as a successful accomplishment in as opposed to singles???

First off, I know my parents, especially my mum would pressure me to find me a nice man to have kids with. Sometimes, we’d have arguments about that maybe I’d rather be on my own and she’d be furious.

Now, that I’m married with children, my parents barely are present in our lives, so what’s the point?
