Question on child support. I am in the state of Michigan. Here’s my story.

I have a toddler 18 months old. He’s been with me everyday so far and I’m his primary parent. I take him to doctor appointments and everything like that. I’m a stay at home mom at this current moment in time. I do not have anyone to watch my child if I work so that’s why I don’t work. The dad don’t have a work schedule so it makes it pretty difficult for me to do anything on my own. I know he’s emotionally abusive towards me all the time. I’m also in therapy so please don’t judge me here. Now he’s always telling me to get out of “his” house. It’s technically his grandmas house she owns it. She lives here too. So I said no it’s almost 11:30 pm at night I’m not leaving our child here. He says take him I’ll get my 50/50. I want to leave but don’t necessarily have a place to go. Not anything that’s better than this. This right now is the lesser of the two evils so that’s why I’m here. Now if I was to leave and say go stay at my dad’s home for a few weeks do you think the courts could put him on child support? Like I will need a source of income to get a low income apartment and with not having reliable childcare I just feel stuck in the same situation. I’m really looking for advice on how I can help my situation here because I’m so sick of being unhappy it’s not working out anymore. It sucks my energy away from everything. It’s horrible. Any advice would be nice. Thank you
