She's frank!
For those who dont know I'm a 37 year old mother of 5. This is baby 6, with some losses during my journey. Every single little one ive birthed was head down in CP by 18/19 weeks and remained that way. I've been medically induced with all my babies except my 8 year old, and all have been spontaneous vaginal deliveries. Now this little girl is the ultimate last baby as im already scheduled to have my tubes tied. And the most stubborn. I'm sure 03/03, with a scheduled induction for 39 weeks (02/26) although no one, including my doctor, believe that we will not make it that long. Other than my first little one I've never made it past 38 weeks due to failing muliple NST. Heres the difference. Little lady is breech... shes frank breech and has never been head down. At this point in pregnancy (again almost 33 weeks) only 9% of babies are breech position, with females being 25% more likely to be in a breech position. We are currently monitoring that as well as monitoring growth. Ive been trying to get her to flip down before my next ultrasound on the 17th. We do have an ECV planned and scheduled for 37 weeks. That alone terrifies me. So many complications that could happen (placental abruption, membranes rupturing, cord compression, her/me not taking it well, etc) thus waiting till 37 weeks in case we need to induce (if we are in the 58% success rate) or have an emergency c-section if it fails. Doc offered trying at 39 weeks and just delivering directly. My worry lies with: A. No room at 39 weeks for an ECV & B. I never make 39 weeks except with my 1st and i don't want to go in for a medical necessary induction and have no choice but a c-section. Ugh. What would you do in a situation like mine? I need some input or similar experiences as im actually terrified. Ive been attempting the spinning babies techniques but nothing yet. Anyways, thanks for reading my super long post. I appreciate you all.
