Breastfeeding help please ?!

Question

I’m 3 days post partum and I’m breast feeding but my baby will only eat 5 min at a time on one side .. my breasts are very swollen and engorged and in bad pain . I tried to also pump but I only get a few drops at a time. What do I do to help this . My chest is huge warm and so swollen !! I’ve even tried to hand express in the shower and only a few drops comes out as well . What should I do ?

Just latch latch latch. Alternate sides. 
Hand express a little before latching babe. Babe likely is struggling to latch since you are engorged (normal at day 3). 
Do not pump. That’ll make it worse.
You can take ibuprofen and use ice packs to help with the swelling. 
Your milk is just now coming in. Latching is the best thing you can do.

Exactly what Allison said. Just latch latch latch. Baby has a very small stomach and will only eat a little at a time. 
DO NOT pump!! That will make everything worse. Warm compresses and Motrin for pain and swelling. It’s not just milk coming in it’s tissue swelling also.
